If you have been scouring the website deciding what to watch, it will have become very apparent that (with Covid-19 now seeming like a distant memory and we are not making light of this, however with a war and a cost of living crisis a pandemic seems like a lifetime ago) there's a lot of film in a short period of time. Also now we are not scared of an impending social distancing disaster we are able to open up more seats, which is kinda lucky because one particular film has proven so popular its almost sold out already with over three months still to go until the main event.
What that means for the attendees at our 2023 festival is that the wonder of choice returns. At 8pm on Friday, 10am and 8pm on Saturday and all day Sunday we have two screens to ensure we are showing as many films as we can. We've always been about value and as thus festival pass holders now get an even better deal for the £34 full festival pass, allowing them to drift from screen to screen and watch whatever floats their boat.
The interview team will split in half with interviews happening simultaneously on both screens following each film. This year we will be introducing two new interviewers to mix things up and maintain a gender balance for those concerned about our previously male-centric interview team.
The question being over all this is of course, what films will you pick? And will you might the right decisions?
